ADVANCED-STAR PRO STAR CFL 250W 2100°K (BLOOM)

The Pro Star CFL bulbs manufactured by Advanced-Star are specifically designed for growing plants. The advantage of Pro Star CFL bulbs is that they consume less energy than high pressure lamps (HPS / MH) and they don't require a separate ballast to start.

Pro Star CFL Bloom 2100°K is fully aligned with the spectrum of light that a plant needs during the blooming phase. Pro Star CFL bulbs can be hung close to a plant without a problem, because they almost don't give of heat. Because of this a plant gets much more energy per watt than with conventional lighting.

Because the Pro Star CFL bulbs require no ballast their is also a smaller change on fire than with conventional HPS and MH lamps. Pro Star bulbs fit into a standard E40 socket and can be plugged directly into a wall outlet.
