BLUELAB CONDUCTIVITY PEN

The compact Bluelab EC pen accurately measures the conductivity (EC or ppm) and temperature of a nutrient solution. This way you know exactly if and which adjustments are necessary.

Excellent nutrition starts with qualitative nutrients. Measuring the conductivity daily is the best way to prevent dilution or overconcentration of your nutrient solution.

In addition to the EC value, the Bluelab EC Pen also measures the temperature of the solution. The temperature is important for the growth rate and the structure of a plant. In most cases a solution temperature of 18-22 ˚C or 65-72 ˚F is ideal.

Simply insert the EC probe into the solution and the chosen value is displayed on the screen When the probe needs to be replaced it is not necessary to buy a completely new meter. It is also possible to order the probe separately.
