DANISH HYDRO TRAY 106 X 63 CM

The rectangular Danish cultivation tray has a surface of 106 cm x 63 cm. This makes it ideal for the drainage of hydro systems. These trays are produced in Denmark and are perfect for an Tides- or Hydro system at table height. Also available is a bottom feed. With this you can easily connect your system to water- and drainage systems.

Application
When irrigating plants through a drip system, it is inevitable that afterwards an excess of nutrients remain in pots, plates or blocks. Danish trays have deep sloping drainage holes through which the surplus (nutrient) water is drained properly and your plants do not remain in the water.

The use of Danish trays is a popular system for all types of cultivation techniques, but especially for stone wool mats. A 1 x 1 m container is perfect for 5 stone wool panels with 5 plants in each plate. An equally successful technique is the use of 9-12 round pots of 10 liters with soil and a sprinkler system. You can mount the bins on a frame and switch the drain in series using PVC pipes and fittings. This makes flushing easier.

We recommend you to use a drain with screw thread and 25 mm pipe and fittings to direct the excess water to a waste tank or back to your main reservoir.
