The Hozelock Ecopower Electric Weeder can be used at any place in the garden such as the lawn, a flowerbed or between the tiles of the terrace. For destroying weeds the device uses a thermal shock. By exposing weeds, to a very high temperature (600 °C) for just a few seconds, the plant cells will brake right up to the deepest roots which causes the weed to slowly die. Thanks to the protective cone covering the heating element, the Eco Power is safe, accurate and efficient and the risk of damaging surrounding plants is reduced. As a result of this device working on electricity rather than using gas, an open flame or chemical pesticides, it's not only much safer but also more durable. The Eco Power is equipped with 1.2 meter cable and a on/off switch.
