The Hozelock Pure Mini Composter transforms all your kitchen waste within a few days into a nutrient-rich fertilizer for your plants and nutrient-rich compost for your garden.

To offer people with a small garden the opportunity to make their own compost, Hozelock is introducing the Pure Mini Composter. This Bokashi Composter is an airtight closable compost bin of 16 liters. In principle you don't even need a garden, it can even on the balcony or in the kitchen all year round. Because the temperature often rises to 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, kitchen and garden waste is composted in 2 to 3 weeks with a bag of Hozelock Pure Bokashi Compost Maker. From the handy drain valve you can drain liquid and use it as a plant food. The Composter comes with a measuring cup, scoop and a bag of Hozelock Pure Bokashi Compost Maker. The Hozelock Pure Composter is equipped with a handy carrying handle.

100% home composting
The Hozelock Bokashi composter provides 100% home composting so you can stop sending your kitchen waste to landfill. All food waste can be fermented in the Hozelock Bokashi airtight container with the addition of Bokashi Bran before being turned into nutrient- rich compost when added to a traditional compost bin.

Fertiliser and compost within days!
Bokashi bran – invented in Japan – uses a combination of bran and effective microorganisms, which acts as an activator and composts all biological kitchen waste, not just vegetable waste, but table scraps, meat, fish and dairy too – delivering a fertilizer liquid in just 5 days, and compost for your plants in just 15-20 days, allowing it to be safely added to a conventional compost heap or dug straight into the ground where it quickly breaks down.

The fertiliser can also be used to clean drains and septic tanks.

How to use:

1. Position 20ml of activator at the bottom of the bucket.
2. Cut into small pieces in order to accelerate decomposition.
3. Pour on the food waste.
4. Pack the waste in order to remove air pockets.
5. On each layer of waste, place 20ml of the Bokashi activator.
6. Put the cover on and ensure the lid is sealed.
7. Recover the liquid fertiliser every 3 to 5 days*
8. After 14 days the compost is ready.**

* This juice is used as plant fertiliser, with a 1/100 dosage. When the bucket is full, leave it closed for 14 days. Continue opening the valve every 3 to 5 days in order to collect the fermentation liquid.
** To be poured into your exterior composter in order to enrich your compost. Or bury the waste mass into the ground to fertilise your soil.
