With the Lawn Renovation Package from Pokon you can effortlessly restore your lawn. Repairing a lawn is a concern of many garden lovers, because re-construction including digging is a big job. With this Lawn Renovation package, all of that is no longer necessary. This 3-in-1 package includes a moss fighter, grass seed and lawn fertilizer, all that is needed to restore your lawn after the winter.

Instructions

Step 1: Start with 'Moss Away!'
Moss can best be treated in the period from February to April when the ground is not frozen or heavy rain is expected. Use 35 grams per m² for optimal results.

• Mow the grass 3 days before application. Do not mow the first 4 days after application;
• Measure the right amount of nutrition;
• Sprinkle the grains evenly over the lawn. For a uniform distribution you can use a special fertilizer spreader;
• Do not walk over the grass until the product has been worked into the soil by rain or spraying.
• If no rain has fallen within 48 hours after the application, the lawn must be well sprayed.
• Within about a week of application, the moss will turn black and die. The grass can temporarily turn brown. After two weeks the dead moss can be removed, preferably by means of scarifying. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 6-7 weeks.

Note: Use Pokon Moss Away! not on lawns younger than 1 year.

Step 2: Sowing of bare spots
After a few weeks, when the moss is removed, you can sow the lawn with grass seed.

• First loosen the top layer with a rake or scarifier;
• Sprinkle a layer of Pokon Lawn Soil;
• Make the soil moist;
• Spread the grass seed evenly over the bare spot;
• Water well and keep the area moist for the first few weeks.

Step 3: Fertilize the lawn
Immediately after sowing the bare spots in the lawn, you can fertilize the entire lawn with lawn fertilizer. Make sure that you spread the fertilizer well over the lawn. Use 30 grams per m² for optimal results.

Renovation per period

• Moss Away!: Moss can best be fought from February to April and from August to September;
• Grass seed: Grass seeds can be sown from March to September. If possible, the period April/May or August/September is recommended;
• Lawn nutrition: April to September.

Tips

• Fertilize: A healthy lawn is less susceptible to moss. Feed your lawn in the spring and autumn with Lawn Fertilizer Plus Lime and in the summer with Super Green Lawn Fertilizer;
• Mowing: Mow regularly, but not too short (3 to 4 cm) with a sharp mower;
• Bare spots: When you suffer from bald patches in the lawn, you can quickly restore it with Pokon Grass Seed Recovery.
