ROUNDUP Optima
For use only as a home garden weedkiller on unwanted vegetation and areas not intended to bear vegetation. DO NOT USE ON LAWNS AND OTHER WANTED PLANTS.
Roundup GC is absorbed by leaves and moves throughout the entire plant, above and below ground, to destroy annual and perennial weeds, including grasses. It is inactivated on contactwith the soil and is then broken down by soil micro-organisms, to allow replanting.
KEEP CHILDREN AND PETS OUT OF TREATED AREAS UNTIL DRY.
When to use
Roundup GC kills most garden weeds with a single application. Apply at any time when the weeds are actively growing and have adequate leaf area to absorb the spray. Rain within 6 hours of spraying may reduce effectiveness, so repeat treatment may be necessary. Avoid all contact with cultivated plants by spray or spray drift. If cultivated plants are treated by mistake, IMMEDIATELY AND THOROUGHLY wash off the weedkiller with ample water.
Where to use
Roundup GC controls annual weeds and most perennial weeds around the garden and on areas not intended to bear vegetation, e.g. on gravel areas, paths, drives, hard surfaces, patios, tarmac, along fences and for edging lawns. It can be used to clean up weedy ground before planting vegetables, flowers, bushes and trees, and to renovate overgrown areas.
How to use
Although not a requirement, as good practice, we recommend wearing waterproof gloves and gardening footwear. Apply by sprayer or watering can (fitted with a very fine rose or dribble bar) to lightly wet the leaves. Do not apply through, or store in, galvanised or unlined mild steel sprayers or watering cans.
