The Russell IPM Yellow Glue Board is a sticky plate made of durable recyclable plastic with a long-lasting glue on each side. All kinds of insects such as spider mites, white flies, fruit fly, flying aphids, leaf miners, the fungus gnats are attracted to the yellow color of the collecting trap and caught through the adhesive layer.

The glue of the Yellow Glue Board is non-toxic, water-repellent and does not dry out in a hot climate while the trap itself is not deformed by extreme temperature or humidity. Bug-Scan® is available in yellow and blue. Most flying insects are attracted by the colored traps and stick to them. The blue color is specially selected for its high selectivity to thrips and low attractiveness to beneficial bugs. Sticky traps provide a simple, but very effective monitoring system. To facilitate counting, a grid has been printed on one side of the sticky traps.

Application
Sticky Glue Traps provide information on the presence of certain pests. This information is of great importance in determining the correct control strategy, and the correct control point in time. Regular checking (1 to 2 times / week) and / or counting of the traps is necessary.

In crops that grow strongly in the height such as tomato, cucumber and pepper should sticky traps just above the top of the crop. This most pests establish themselves first. As the plant grows, the sticky traps can be hung higher in order to monitor growth.

When crops grow less rapidly in length, sticky traps are best 20 to 30 cm are hung above the plant (using the suspension wires). The plates should be replaced signal as soon as there are large numbers of insects are captured on the plate.
