WOLF-Garten Scarifier-Mix 4 in 1 is an innovative product that serves as a wellness cure for damaged grass. Sowing, germ protection, fertilization and soil improvement all in one treatment.

• TURBO SOWING: the fast germinating, hard-wearing lawn mix. Immediately closes the openings in the grass cuttings.
• GERMINATION PROTECTION: natural microorganisms build a protection around the plant roots. This promotes and supports a certain germination of the high quality grass seeds.
• LONG-ACTING ORGANIC FERTILIZER WITH MINERALS: for immediate and long-acting fertilization. Provides the young grass plants with nutrients. Promotes the dense growth of lawn grasses and thus the rapid recovery of the lawn surface.
• NATURAL SOIL IMPROVER (BIMS): improves water absorption capacity, promotes aeration and rooting. As a result, the soil structure is loosened and the soil will be healthy. BIMS, a porous volcanic rock, is excavated in an environmentally friendly way. With a porous volume of up to about 85%, this is the lightest material used in horticulture. This fine-grained and stable material is pH-neutral and improves the soil structure permanently.

USE
When
Scarifying can be done during the whole growing season from April to September. The ideal periods are at the beginning (April / May) or at the end of the growing season (August / September).

How
Remove the plant remains from the surface to ensure a good surface for the seeds. We recommend scattering 32g / m² for small lawn holes and bare spots. In the case of large bare spots in the lawn the spreading quantity is 40g / m². Evenly spreading the Verticuteer mix 4 in 1 is best done with a suitable spreader.

Watering is important
Pay particular attention to sufficient wetting in the first 3 weeks after sowing. The soil surface must under no circumstances dry out, because this will also dry out the fragile germinating grass layer. Therefore, if drought occurs water several times a day, approximately 5 times 10 minutes.

The first mowing session
When the new grass has grown 8 - 10 cm high, it must be mowed for the first time. As cutting height we recommend 5 cm, respectively half of the grass height. It is important that the cutting blades are sharp!

Spread quantity
For small damaged areas 32 g / m², for large damaged areas 40 g / m².
