BATO SUBSTRATE TRAY 100CM

The substrate tray of Bato Plastics is suitable for both the production of strawberries under glass and on racks. The container fits on a modern steel channel and on a 51mm tube. In addition, the tray is equipped with elevations that prevent root outgrowth and drain holes in the soil so that there are no pipes required.

This substrate holder offers a large number of advantages over existing substrate containers.

• Marks on the tray indicate where the plant should be placed for uniform plant distribution;
• The tray has an ideal surface/depth (13.5 cm) ratio;

• There may be placed two trays next to each other to be filled by the filling machine;
• A cheap irrigation system is possible through use of T-tape, or in-line drip hose;
• The substrate tray is nestable and completely symmetrical;
• The many drain holes provide good drainage;
• There is less need for peat than in existing containers;
• The tray can be filled with better qualities of peat;
• This meter tray is ideal for use with slabs of 100cm length.
